The Vean is a magnificent venue for a wedding and is licensed for civil ceremonies.
The Vean nestles in the wooded Porthluney Valley, in a tranquil setting, with stunning views over Caerhays Castle gardens. Its idyllic rural location is less than a mile from Porthluney beach. It offers individuality and unobtrusive service in a home from home atmosphere. We can cater for small numbers at The Vean and larger parties can be catered for in a marquee in the Castle grounds with the romantic backdrop of Caerhays Castle on one side and Porthluney beach on the other.

We are happy to help you with the planning of your event and to liase with you to make sure that everything runs smoothly on the day. We can help you with lists of suppliers, who work with us regularly and a selection of caterers, florists, photographers, musicians and marquee hire firms. You are guaranteed complete privacy at The Vean and the house is yours for the occasion. This is a private house and not a hotel.
